Health and Safety Compliance Officer (Hiring Immediately)

works in a safe and healthy environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to
make a difference to people every day. By proactively keeping them safe, you’ll also empower them to feel confident in their roles and motivated to dotheir best work.
Key job responsibilities- Monitor site performance against set KPIs and create plans to improve
- Set up workplace health and safety programmes and arrange training sessions
- Analyse safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan
- Carry out audits to make sure your site is compliant with relevant health
and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks
A day in the lifeYou’ll be based on location at one of our sites, which could be one of our
fulfilment centres, sortation centres or delivery stations. Being on site
means that you can keep a close eye on the processes. As well as helping us
stay on top of health and safety compliance, you’ll spot potential issues and
identify opportunities for improvement. That means working closely with people
across the business to get to know the risks they experience and gathering
data to identify smarter and safer ways that we can work. You’ll also set up
training and other programmes to help everyone follow new safety processes and
reach new standards.

The CF team are the first people in the chain that helps customers getproducts at the speed we’re known for. We’re based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon’s fast-paced Operations network. Our centres
are sometimes referred to as the ‘First Mile’ because it’s where most Amazon
packages start their journey. We help to manage dynamic inventory and
facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.
Lots of different people work in our Fulfilment Centres, so there are plenty
of opportunities for every skillset. Some of us work with physical products, while others analyse data to help everyone across the business make smartdecisions.
### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in workplace health & safety (WHS) related field
- Education to Degree level
- NEBOSH DiplomaNVQ5 level or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of UK Environment, health and safety legislation
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders,
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
