Principal MEMS R&D Engineer

Our fast paced start up is currently searching for a Senior MEMS R&D Engineer to be responsible for designing and developing new MEMS devices. The role will involve studying existing technology and creating new novel MEMS concepts. Contributing to MEMS wafer process requirements will be required as well as modelling and simulation.
Participation in project planning activities, in particular for estimation of time/ effort needed for sensor development tasks will be a critical part of the role.
Required skills for the Senior MEMS R&D Engineer will include:
- Extensive experience of MEMS device development
- Knowledge within a number of the following fields: wafer process development, device characterisation, packaging etc
- Semiconductor materials knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
