Your new company
Our client, based in Renfrewshire, is now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join ther business on an interim basis to support their team due to an increase in work flow and support with new projects.
Your new role
The role will see the preferred candidate support the business that generated £22m in revenue and £2.5m in membership sales. The business is looking for support in two key areas; marketing a portfolio of venues for both corporate and private hire and supporting the business with internal communication.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should be educated to HNC or Degree level in a Marketing or Customer Service discipline, or possess equivalent relevant experience. A CIM or equivalent marketing qualification would be desirable.
Experience in a service industry marketing role is essential, particularly in developing advertising campaigns for both online and print media. Additional desirable experience includes the use of Illustrator on Apple Mac, involvement in photographic and creative projects, and knowledge of the leisure industry.Digital marketing, public relations, and project management experience are also advantageous. The candidate should have experience in customer relations, profiling, and data acquisition, as well as working in a busy environment. Copywriting skills for both online and print media, along with experience in using CMS and conducting mass and targeted marketing, are highly valued.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of CMS, mass, and targeted marketing, coupled with strong organisational and project management skills.
Personal qualities such as being articulate and having good interpersonal skills are essential for dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
