Adecco are currently recruiting for an Adobe Commerce Front End Developer to undertake a 3 month contract for a UK based client (Remote/Outside IR35) Are you passionate about improving the web experiences for customers? Our client, a dynamic organisation, is seeking a Frontend Developer to join their team on a contract basis for 3 months.
As a part of their digital transformation project, you will play a vital role in enhancing their eCommerce website, ensuring it remains a best-in-class online store.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues, internal teams, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop, customise, and maintain the Adobe site to enhance users' buying and account experiences.
- Support the organisation in addressing improvement requirements and implementing fixes.
- Collaborate effectively with third-party partners to ensure optimal performance and provide high-quality support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Adobe Commerce and third-party integrations.
- Implement external best practise ideas, techniques, and processes to maximise eCommerce performance for our client.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) is essential.
- Expert level skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as Node, Knockout, and Require JS.
- Solid understanding of Adobe Commerce recommendations and best practises.
- Fluency in converting heavy front-loaded data into AJAX loaded experiences is a bonus.
- Experience with change control, third-party APIs, and RESTful services is a plus.
- Familiarity with headless commerce architecture and frameworks would be highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and liaise with external suppliers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including clear communication at all levels.
