Direct Medics Truro Temporary
Truro Health Park is seeking a dedicated CAMHS Consultant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the mental health care of children and adolescents.
Dates: To commence ASAP until end December 2024 initially with possibility of extension on a 3 monthly basis.Rota: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with mental health issues.
- Collaborating with other professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
- Participating in case discussions and providing guidance to junior staff.
- Engaging with families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Will be working in the community team covering Mid - West Cornwall area. Must have S12 and preferably RC status. Working hours 40 a week, no overnight/ weekend on call Individual must be able to work face to face in the community.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Current GMC registration.
- Specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Previous experience in CAMHS consultancy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
