Job Description- Overseeing accounting operations in line with industry and company standards
- Contributing to financial planning and budgeting processes
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Managing financial auditing and tax processes
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Analysing complex financial data and extract and define relevant information
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in financial management within the Life Science industry
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- A competitive salary range of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
- Yearly bonus based on performance
