Join Our Compassionate Team as a Children Support Worker in Leeds!

Are you a caring and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children? We are seeking compassionate Children Support Workers to join our team in the Leeds area. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to children, helping them thrive and grow.

About the Role:

  • Rate: £12.00 per hour
  • Hours: Dependent on the client

Your Responsibilities:

  • Commit to your shifts and ensure continuity of care year-round.
  • Follow the care plan, be punctual, and responsive.
  • Support individuals in their daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with Learning Disabilities and Complex Care.
  • Commitment: Must have at least 6 months of UK care experience and the right to work in the UK.
  • DBS Certificate: An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service. If you need to apply for a new DBS, we can support you with this.
  • CV: An up-to-date CV with all employment history.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and an understanding approach.
  • Commitment to Assignments: To ensure structure and stability for our service users, we need individuals who can commit to recurring days of the week.
