Black Firs Primary School is a happy and successful 1.5-form entry school with its own Pre-School, located in Congleton, East Cheshire. We are currently seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our busy school office team.

This part-time, morning role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work within a warm and welcoming school environment. You will provide vital support to our School Business Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of front office operations.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident in dealing with pupils, parents, and staff in a professional and approachable manner
  • Be organised, reliable, and able to work in a busy school setting
  • Have experience in a similar role (desirable, but not essential)

Hours: 10 hours per week
(Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day 8.30 till 10.30am)
Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time)
Actual Salary : Grade 3 (pro rata), SCP 3-5 starting at £5,459 actual
