IT Test & Release Manager - Merseyside - £400PD

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a new challenge? Our client, a reputable organisation, is seeking a skilled IT Test & Release Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and reporting of regression tests for their Core IT Systems, including their cutting-edge cloud products including but not limited to ERP platform of Oracle HCM/ERP/ECP.

Contract details:

• 6 month contract (great potential for further extensions)
• £400 per day (inside IR35 & Umbrella Rate)
• Hybrid working (need to be on site minimum of 2 days per week in Merseyside)

What you'll be doing:

• Planning, preparing, executing and reporting of regression tests, both manual and automated, for the IT Systems
• Owning the Test & Release Management lifecycle, ensuring the smooth scheduling, coordination, and management of releases
• Managing and coordinating testing scripts, results, analysis, defect management, supplier management and communication

• Extensive experience coordinating test and release activities, including system acceptance testing and user acceptance testing
• Proficiency in working within a formal change management process and managing testing scripts, results, and defect management
• Strong leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and work with external suppliers
