Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Floating Support Worker for Manchester City CouncilManchester City Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the needs of homeless applicants and match them to an appropriate move-on schemeDeal with clients presenting with complex needs, such as drug and alcohol addiction, past serious offenders, active mental and physical health conditions
Develop strong working relationships with partner accommodation schemes
Undertake lone working responsibilities and make visits to clients staying in homeless B&Bs and hotels throughout Manchester
Work with Homeless Families and manage a case load of 20-25 clients for 3 months
Pass on families to Support Workers who will work with them for the full tenancy length and manage a case load of 40 families
Requirements:
Valid driving licence, access to a car for work purposes, and have business insurance on their carCurrent enhanced DBS for adults and children
Ideally have experience within homelessness
