The position of Warehouse Operative involves:
- Using a Counterbalance & Pivot Truck in a variety of warehouse racking solutions.
- Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch.
- Continuously high levels of housekeeping to ensure high standards of warehouse hygiene environment are adhered to.
- Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes.
Essential skills required for Warehouse Operative:
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience with computerised warehouse management systems, Manhattan scale is advantageous.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Starting salary for Warehouse Operative is £28,080pa, based on 45 hours per week.
- Hours of work are: 08:30hrs to 18:00hrs
- Overtime available.
