Welcome to Rochdale Adult Care, part of Rochdale’s award winning adult care services department. It is an exciting time across Adult Care, as we embark and continue on our change and transformation journey to truly make a difference to the lives of our residents.

The Adult Front Door Service is the first point of contact for individuals seeking social care and wellbeing support and is responsible for Adult Cares initial care, prevention and risk management response. The team consists of a range of practitioners including social workers, support planners, prevention workers and triage assistants with a focus on multi agency collaboration to provide a person centred response to all contacts to effectively support individuals and carers to live well safely and as independently as possible.

In return you will have the opportunity to further develop and progress your skills through undertaking a variety of appropriate training and development courses.

The post holder’s must be able to demonstrate an ability to travel around the Borough of Rochdale. We currently have a 7 day working policy.

This post is subject to satisfactory two year reference history, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, medical clearance, evidence of essential qualifications and proof of legal working in accordance with Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
