Learning Support Mentor
Join Our Team as a Learning Support Mentor!
Are you passionate about education and ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? We are a dedicated teaching agency partnering with a leading college to recruit enthusiastic Learning Support Mentors for their Cambridge campus.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a long-term position, with the potential for permanent roles for the right candidates. You'll be part of a vibrant, supportive team, where you can build a meaningful career and make a lasting impact on students' lives.
As a Learning Support Mentor, you'll play a key role in helping students succeed. Working closely with teachers, you'll support learners in vocational areas across the college, helping them engage with the curriculum and reach their potential.
You'll work directly with students to adapt learning materials, ensure access to therapy interventions (like Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy), and help them achieve their Education, Health, and Care Plan outcomes.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of young people. You'll need to be flexible, empathetic, and comfortable using your initiative when supporting learners.
What we're looking for:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent) are a must.
- A qualification or experience in Health and Social Care is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with young people with SEND is a plus.
If you're passionate about education and helping students thrive, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and be part of a supportive team that's dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our students.
