Graduate Controls Engineer required for my client based in Basildon, who are leading supplier of bespoke test and assembly machines to predominantly the automotive manufacturing industry both here in the UK and world-wide.
The successful graduate controls engineer will be involved in working on the pneumatics and electrical circuits of the companies' machines, within the controls engineering department.
Graduate Controls Engineer Position Overview- Your principal role will be to work and get involved in the pneumatics and electrical circuits of machines within the controls engineering department.
- The design and developing of control systems and manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoots problems with processes and hardware
- Plans preventive maintenance
- Coordinates with others in order to determine problems and implement solutions
- Provides technical assistance as needed by internal customers
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Controls, Hardware or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software.
- A keen interest in pneumatics and electrical circuits of machinery.
- Hardware engineering experience / qualifications.
- Eagerness to work and develop your career.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
- Based within a commutable distance of Basildon, Essex.
- A full UK driving license is preferred.
- Salary - £28,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications. Overtime and Pay Reviews Regular.
- Working Hours - 37.5 Hours.
- Holiday package - 25 Days plus 1 extra day each year up to 30 Days - plus bank holidays.
- Any other additional benefits - Company performance Bonus. Overtime paid 1 ½ Hourly Rate.
