Job Description

The role of Transport Planner will involve:

• Collaborating with logistics, depot teams and customers to ensure efficient planning and allocation of resources.
• Coordinating with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Participating in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the logistics department.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identifying areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Planner in Coventry should have:

• A solid background in logistics/transport planning.
• - Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
• Previous experience in heavy haulage logistics (desirable).
• Previous experience with weighbridge and vehicle weights (desirable)
• Must be commutable to Birmingham on a daily basis
