Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant! ?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Didsbury, Manchester! This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners in their educational journey while working in a nurturing and rewarding environment.

Position Details:

Contract Type: On-going (term-time)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Part Time (Thursday and Friday)
Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Hourly Rate: £12.10

Key Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

  • 1:1 Support with a non-verbal child with special educational needs in their learning activities.
  • Assisting teachers in the preparation of learning materials and classroom setups.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and recording student's progress and behaviour.
  • Providing one-to-one support for children as needed.
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications in special education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude! ?
