Ground Support Assistant - Fitter / Installation of Ground Protection Mats.

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors? Do you want to play a vital role in large-scale events, construction sites, and concerts? We are looking for a Ground Support Assistant to join our team!

Great overtime earning potential! Our installers typically work 50+ hours a week.

• The primary purpose of this role is to provide a fitting service for ground protection mats across the UK.
• Successful candidates will be required to have a full UK drivers license along with access to their own vehicle.

• Based in Norwich
• £13.00 per hour
• Overtime paid at £19.50 per hour
• Full time, Monday – Friday
• 45 hours per week + overtime available
• Temporary to permanent position
• Start time 06:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to a variety of locations (building sites, concerts, events) to lay ground protection mats.
• Ensure proper installation of mats to create a stable and safe base for construction and large events.
• Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Carry out regular maintenance of the mats to ensure safety and durability.
• Coordinate with site managers and event planners for smooth execution.
• PPE will be provided

Requirements:

• A full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle
• CSCS card
• You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status
• Previous experience with construction or groundworks is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to travel and work on location at different sites.
• Physical fitness for manual labour.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
