Legal Counsel
Privately held investment management firm seeking Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team, focusing on M&A and transactional matters within the sports and entertainment sectors.
This role will provide essential support in legal transactions and managing legal records, ensuring everything is up to date. The candidate should be ready to take on more responsibility over time, and gain exposure to significant transactional work that will enrich their professional development.The role will suit an ambitious junior corporate M&A lawyer and an interest in media, sports, entertainment sector is helpful but note a prerequisite. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and collaborate with internal teams, as well as manage key legal documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven corporate M&A lawyer with a good understanding of commercial law at a top City firm looking for a first in-house legal position. Experience in Private Equity or Investment Management is helpful as is a commercial mindset.An interest in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors is a bonus.
