At our Highland site we process beef only and have over 300 employees. We’re based in Saltcoats with strong transport links.
We are currently recruiting for permanent General Operatives to work in the LBoning Hall. It’s a fast-paced environment, with targets and customer specifications to achieve.
All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.
Shift Types:
- 00am – 1.40pm (Monday – Friday)
- 30am – 3.10pm (Monday – Friday)
- 30am – 4.30pm (Monday – Friday)
- 00am – 5.40pm (Monday – Friday)
Starting rate:
£11.44 per hour

Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing meat (beef) to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis. Duties will include the following:
- Manufacturing meat to a high standard, e.g. beef
- Preparing and packaging meat products for dispatch
- Using tools such as knives and saws.
- Physical role with moving and lifting products up to 25kg.
- Ensure the working area is clean to high standards.
- Ensure that company procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Good time management skills.
- Work as part of a team in the factory, packing meat cuts and trims to customer specification on a paced production line to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist on the production area & provide support to the production team.
- Potentially work in other areas of the factory.a
- Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas
- Keep up to date knowledge of all products.
- Keep up to date with all training to ensure you are trained to complete your day to day role.
- Follow work instructions in all areas.
- Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations.
- Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and upto date.
- Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
- Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadline.
