Salary: £140 - £200 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and teaching methods
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience in classroom management
- Adaptable and able to adjust teaching methods based on student needs
- Passionate about educating and inspiring students
- Patient and able to work with students of varying abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Maths education
- Experience in teaching Maths at different levels
- Participation in continuing professional development related to Maths teaching
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting with standard teaching hours
- Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
