Content Specialist (12 month contract)
The Content Specialist’s role is to support the Digital Content Marketing Manager with the operational delivery of the digital strategy for key digital marketing programmes, including website platform migrations and optimising key content across markets, primarily focusing on supporting
North American acquisition brand performance through content optimisation. This role will be within the Digital Content & Comms Team, mainly working with colleagues from the Search Performance teams, but will also collaborate with the Digital Product and Digital Account Management teams, as well as key partner markets.This role will report directly to the Digital Content Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities will span across digital marketing channels for both B2C and B2B audiences across digital marketing platforms.- Supporting the Digital Content Marketing Manager to action and deliver priority Digital Marketing projects like website content optimisations, content audits and recommendations across Rentokil Initial and its subsidiary brands globally.
- Working across different internal Rentokil Initial teams
- Cross-functional collaboration to support the optimisation of content in key regions
- Liaising with the local markets to collate all of the necessary information required for content-related projects
- Management of content-related documentation and comms with internal teams and key markets to ensure that action progress and project plans are tracked
- Actioning insights generated by other Digital Marketing areas - SEO, Paid Search, UX/CX, CRO etc.
- Support rollout and implementation of technical SEO recommendations to support local search performance
- Experience in working for a global organisation
- Experienced in writing optimised web copy for B2B and B2C audiences
- Experience in content promotion and amplification through inbound marketing is an advantage
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research & analysis and trends data
- Nice to have: Experience in Google Analytics, including reporting and measuring campaign performance and effectiveness
- Experience within a B2B business and preferably in a service industry
