Pest Control Technician

Pay: £16.11 - £20.56

Hours: 08:00-16:00 (1 day per week 08:00-17:00)

Job Summary: As a Pest Control Technician working within social housing, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and eliminating pest infestations in residential units to ensure a safe and healthy living environment for tenants. Your role involves conducting inspections, implementing pest control measures, and providing recommendations to prevent future infestations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect residential units and common areas for signs of pest infestations.
• Develop and implement effective pest control plans using safe and approved methods.
• Apply pest control treatments, including traps, baits, and sprays, as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up actions.
• Communicate with tenants to educate them on pest prevention and control.
• Collaborate with property managers and maintenance teams to address pest-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
