More detail about the role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and busy department as a Clinical Secretary. Within this role you will work closely with the surgical team, consultants, junior doctors, matrons and nursing team supporting them with day to day administration tasks.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the admin team based in Bowmoor House, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Wonford. As an individual we are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy and vibrant team, who is able to prioritise their workload, and can remain calm under pressure.
You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience in dealing with patients on the telephone. You will be flexible, proactive and adaptable with excellent IT skills. You will need to enjoy the challenge of working as part of a busy team yet have the ability to use your own initiative to meet the changing needs of the ward duties.
