Position: Team LeaderLocation: Melksham, Wiltshire
Salary: £12.30 - £14.35 per hour depending on shift + holiday top - up payments made for regular overtime (T's & C's)
Hours: Various shifts, 40 hours per week. Working alternate weekends is essential

The role:
As a Team Leader you will be working for an organisation that supports people in their day-to-day lives, helping them to enjoy the comfort and familiarity of their own homes while ensuring that their wellbeing, and care needs are met, 24 hours a day.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coaching and mentoring teams to deliver excellent quality services and careCarry out regular Supervisions for Support Workers
Assist with covering absence and sickness of the staff team
Medication audits, spot checks quality review and supervising staff team to dispense medication
Quality control audits
Maintaining individuals care records
Completing both medical and general competency checks
Participate in monthly team & team leader meetings
Induction of new team members
On call duties and to take part in the on-call rota, including alternate weekends

Essential skills for this role include:
NVQ/QCF level 3 in Health and Social Caredemonstrable understanding of the legislative requirements around care of vulnerable people, MCA and DOLS understanding of the requirements
strong numeracy, literacy and computer skills, broad knowledge of Learning Disabilities and other related conditions
Participating in on call essential
