Teacher of PE and/or Teaching Assistant
We are now looking to strengthen our department with the creation of a new part time post teaching students in Years 7 to 13 and undertaking an active role within our extra-curricular activities. Applicants need to be able to teach Physical Education from KS3 to KS5, including GCSE PE, BTEC SPORT and A Level PE.
Contract term: Fixed Term from 01 September 2025 to 31 August 2026
(There may be the possibility for a permanent role in the future and we would also consider offering a part-time teaching assistant position for suitable candidates)
Contract type: Part‐Time PE Teacher – 0.5 fte, (2.5 days / week, Mon, Tue, 0.5 Wednesday – Not Negotiable)
Part-Time Teaching Assistant – 0.5 fte, (2.5 days / week, Wed 0.5, Thu & Fri – Would be offered to suitable candidate
Scale: Main Scale (£31,650‐£43,607 FTE) pro rata for 0.5 fte Teacher’s role
Grade 3, point 4-6 (£24,404-£25,183 FTE) pro rata for 0.5 fte Teaching Assistant’s role
