Job Description

The Locum Employment Solicitor will:

• Act as the lead on employment cases, advising senior executives on terminations, restrictive covenants, and related issues.
• Acting for large organisations handling mixed contentious and non-contentious employment matters from start to finish.
• Work independently while liaising with the wider team and providing strategic input into case management.
• Manage a busy caseload with varying levels of complexity, ensuring all matters are handled efficiently and professionally.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Employment Locum should have:

• 5+ years PQE as a Solicitor with a strong background in employment law from a reputable firm.
• Extensive experience advising senior executives on employment matters, particularly around terminations and restrictive covenants.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle high-stakes cases under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting, managing your own caseload effectively.
