A full time live in carer to assist an elderly client living in the Hertfordshire area. The client needs a caring and patient carer that can provide good companionship as well as make sure she is safe in her home. Someone who can drive would be a bonus.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours with breaks included, rota to be shared by two candidates

Duties include:

general care duties
personal care and hygiene
companionship
medication
stimulating and entertaining the client
motivating and stimulating the client
ensuring that the client has everything that she needs at all times
taking the client out for walks for fresh air when required
make sure she is being supported at all times
ensuring the client is safe and comfortable at all times, being near for when she needs.
laundry, hoovering, mopping, dusting
changing bed sheets and linen
dishes
laying out clothes daily
shopping, running errands
ensuring the house stays neat and tidy at all times
cooking and preparing meals for the client, such as breakfast and lunch, and dinner

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The ideal start date is on the 13th of January.
