Overview
Our Client a leading Law firm specialist are seeking to appoint a highly organised and ambitious Legal Administrator to join their professional team based in Bridgend. This is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the Legal Administrator : Opening mail and allocating to appropriate fee earner
Audio typing, letters, memorandums and emails as requestedAnswering the telephone and taking messages where appropriate
Establishing a rapport with, and satisfying the requirements of the clients where appropriate
To provide assistance to staff as when required
Purpose/Job Objectives of the Legal Administrator: To ensure efficient processing of work within agreed priorities
To help the firm achieve its targetsTo help the firm maintain high levels of quality and to achieve LEXCEL and maintain it
To assist in the smooth running of the practice
Main Duties of the Legal Administrator: Dealing with telephone calls and messages
File openingPhotocopying and scanning if required
Monitoring key dates, diaries and managing appointments.
Arranging meetings and contacting service providers as required
Dealing personally with clients when they initially attend at the office and on the telephone
Other Duties: Provide cover for other administrators/secretaries as requiredRequirements: Use office equipment and software properly including the use and protection of passwords
Maintain cleanliness in the work place and efficient work place organisationEnsure client confidentiality at all times
Skills, Knowledge Experience and Qualifications
Excellent communication and people handling skills
Self-motivated and with a passion for client care
Computer literacy MS Word, Outlook Excel Database
Organisational ability and time management
Knowledge of LEAP case Management system would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
