Teacher of Computer Science
The Governors of this highly successful, partially selective, mixed school invite applications for the post of Teacher of Computer Science.
We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our successful and very well-resourced Computer Science department. Computer Science is taught weekly to all KS3 students and we attract good numbers to our GCSE and A Level Computer Science courses.Lessons are taught in dedicated computer suites which include the latest touch screen whiteboards.
Applicants must be able to teach A Level Computer Science.
In the 2024 A level examinations:
- 50% of A Level Computer Science results were graded A* with 83% graded A*-C.
In 2024 GCSE examinations:
- 56% of GCSE Computer Science results were grade 9, with 100% achieving a grade 9 - 6.
