Job Description- Manage and maintain financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Provide support and expertise for financial system upgrades or implementations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to financial systems and reporting.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate, secure, and up-to-date.
- Assist in creating user-friendly guides and training materials for system users.
- Act as the key point of contact for system-related queries and troubleshooting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Systems Accountant should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Experience working with accounting software and system implementation projects.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in utilising IT tools to enhance financial processes.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
