Job Description
  • Manage and maintain financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Provide support and expertise for financial system upgrades or implementations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to financial systems and reporting.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, secure, and up-to-date.
  • Assist in creating user-friendly guides and training materials for system users.
  • Act as the key point of contact for system-related queries and troubleshooting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Systems Accountant should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Experience working with accounting software and system implementation projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in utilising IT tools to enhance financial processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
