An interesting opportunity has arisen for a part-time specialist audiologist to join the audiology team at St George's NHS Hospital on a 6 month fixed term basis. There is some flexibility to apply this post as either a hearing therapy position or a paediatric audiology position and applicants in both sub-specialties are invited to apply.Since the adult and paediatric services are co-located, there will be opportunity to be involved in other aspects of the service as well such as vestibular or adult hearing (direct access and consultant test support) in order to maintain clinical competencies and support service demand.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a large, welcoming Audiology team who strives to provide a high quality, evidence-based service. You will be expected to deliver clinics in the agreed sub-specialities at St George’s Hospital and nearby satellite clinics. Because we value the unique contributions of every team member, you will also be encourage to participate in departmental quality assurance and service improvement.
