Food and Beverage Supervisor

Are you ready to dive into an exciting career at SEA LIFE Scarborough as our Food & Beverage Supervisor?
We're searching for a dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our team in creating unforgettable experiences. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee a team of hosts and team leaders, ensuring smooth and efficient catering operations that maximize revenue and makes sure our guests are wowed by their time with us.
You'll be hands-on, working alongside your team in our Adventurers Grill and Beach Bites Kiosk. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest food quality standards, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Training your team on food hygiene and temperature control will be key.
You’ll also manage stock, reduce waste, and coach your team to achieve sales targets. As part of the management team, you’ll also be included in the duty management rota.
This full-time, permanent role requires working any 5 days from 7, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in managing a food & beverage team, with a knack for inspiring others and driving performance
- A passion for customer service
- Strong understanding of food safety, stock management, and cost control
- Creative and innovative, always looking for new ideas to boost sales
- Hands-on approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment and leading by example
- Level 3 – Supervising Food Safety in Catering is desirable but level 2 certification with solid experience in catering will be considered
