This will include participating in both multidisciplinary assessments and individual psychological assessments and evidence-based psychological interventions.

The post holder will be clinically responsible for an individual caseload as well as contributing to the development and delivery of group-based pain management interventions.

There will be monthly supervision from the Principal Clinical Psychologist as well as wider network support from the North West Pain Psychologists’ Special Interest Group and from other clinical psychologists working in adult mental health across Wirral.

You will be expected and supported to engage with these networks to develop your skills and experience within the role.

The post involves taking an active part in audit, research and development of the service as well as contributing to any training needs around this both within the team and wider within the trust and local community.
