Student Support Worker

Position: Full-time and part-time positions available
Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students, providing essential support to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive the academic and emotional support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
  • Help students manage their emotions and develop coping strategies to handle challenges
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
  • Promote positive behaviour and reinforce school policies and expectations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Patience and resilience when handling challenging situations
  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
