This senior leadership position will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and performance of the marketing operations on a global scale. The Person As the Head of Marketing, you will lead a team of over 25 marketing executives, create and execute global digital marketing initiatives, manage departmental budgets, review and analyse marketing activities and create a clear structure within the marketing team.
You will devise strategic plans for the marketing department to align with overall company objectives and revenue targets across each product vertical within the business. This is a hands-on position and is ideal for a marketing management professional who has exceptional leadership skills and strong commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities: ● Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with their global business objectives. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing team. ● Global Team Management: Lead and mentor a large, high-performing marketing team across multiple regions.
Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team effectiveness. ● Departmental Budget Management: Manage and optimize marketing budgets to deliver maximum ROI. Track and analyze performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
● Digital Marketing Excellence: Drive exceptional digital marketing initiatives, including e-commerce and social media. Leverage data analytics to optimize campaigns and measure performance. ● E-commerce Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices and trends.
Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales growth and customer acquisition. ● Brand Management: Strengthen and protect the brand identity across all markets. Develop and execute creative campaigns that resonate with their target audience.
● Wholesale and Retail Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail partners. Develop marketing strategies to support sales and revenue targets and increase brand visibility. ● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and optimize marketing efforts.
Qualifications: To be considered for this position applicants MUST clearly demonstrate the following skills and experience; ● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field ● 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in managing large teams and global operations ● Strong expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media ● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: ● International marketing experience ● Proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective marketing strategies Please note only candidates with 3+ years of Managing a Marketing Department and people management experience, and have a strong background in e-commerce marketing, will be considered.
