Production Team Leader
Location: Newmarket
Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour (after training)
Training Rate: £12.94 per hour
Shifts: Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)
Start Date: Immediate
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for production and efficiency?Neway International is looking for Production Team Leaders to join our client’s fast-paced ready meal site in Newmarket. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a production team and ensure high-quality results.
Position Overview:
As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that daily production targets are met and that the team operates effectively. During the training period, you will start on the multi-skilled rate of £12.94 per hour. Once the training is successfully completed, you will transition to the full Team Leader role at £15.03 per hour.
Key Responsibilities: > Lead and supervise a team of around 10 production staff
> Ensure production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards> Oversee daily production activities and troubleshoot issues
> Uphold health and safety standards, maintaining a clean work environment
> Drive continuous improvement within the production process
Requirements: > Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
> Strong leadership and team management skills> Excellent problem-solving abilities
> Ability to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)
> Strong communication and interpersonal skills
