Our client's tax department, one of the largest outside the big four in Scotland, is seeking a motivated and accountable Personal Tax Manager. This role offers the opportunity to drive change, lead complex tax compliance services, and make a significant impact within a dynamic team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the delivery of complex personal tax compliance services to a diverse range of clients.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and provide ad hoc advice connected to compliance services.
• Proactively identify opportunities to deliver additional value to clients.
• Coach and develop team members, enhancing their professional growth.
• Collaborate with the tax management team to lead compliance operations and process improvement initiatives, aiming to enhance efficiency.
• Play a pivotal role in driving, creating, and maintaining a positive team culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Alignment with our purpose and values.
• Demonstrated expertise in personal tax compliance with the ability to provide high-quality service to clients with complex needs.
• Relevant management experience in a tax setting.
• While a relevant qualification (ATT, CTA, or CA) is desirable, extensive relevant experience can substitute for formal qualifications.
