Part Time Finance and Administration Assistant Job in Ringwood - 9-month FTC
Our client is a thriving design and engineering firm who are recruiting for a Finance and Administration Assistant for a 9-month Fixed Term Contract, with an expected start date of April 2025. The business works with a range of commercial clients on their innovations in internal design, and they are seeing great results with year-on year growth and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Xero accounting software
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Purchase and sales ledger invoicing
- Reconciling supplier payments
- Monthly sales financial reporting
- Assisting with payroll preparation
- Preparing month end figures
- Preparing audit documentation
- General bookkeeping queries
Administration:
- Answering incoming calls and responding to client enquiries
- Producing applications to clients
- General office administration and filing
- Stationary and facilities ordering
- Process expense claims and holiday requests for engineers
- Monthly sales reporting for the MD
- Adhoc administrative duties
Minimum Skills Required for the Part Time Finance and Administration Assistant:
- Strong understanding of Xero accounting software
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications)
- Proactive and keen to get stuck in
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable team player
Salary and Benefits:
- An hourly rate of £14-15 per hour, dependent on experience
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays pro rata
- Working Monday
- Friday 8.00 am
- 1.00 pm or 9.00 am
- 2.00 pm
- Company pension
- On-site parking
