About the Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will care for young people aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health SEMH difficulties in a 3-bed residential home. Your role includes creating a safe, nurturing environment, promoting independence, and preparing young people for adulthood.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored, high-quality care.

Support young people’s education, hobbies, and development.

Promote independence and prepare young people for adulthood.

Maintain records and communicate with professionals.

Safeguard and protect young people.

Work with families, carers, and external agencies.

Lead, mentor, and support the team.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in residential childcare.

Understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed care.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Flexibility to work sleep-ins and occasional waking nights.

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or willingness to obtain.
