Business Support Officer Grade 3

Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer to join the Community Safety Team. Your new role
As a Business Support Officer, you will be supporting the team by ensuring invoices are processed, and any purchase orders are raised. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring all meetings have been scheduled correctly, and materials have been sent out.
You will be supporting the delivery of a new project from the council, therefore you will be liaising and working with various teams and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of working in a busy administrative environment where you can prioritise your workload. In addition, you will need to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to ensure enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.It is also important to confidently communicate with customers face to face, and over the phone.
In addition, this role will be an ASAP start,. Before starting, you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks. On registration please have your 2 most recent employment details available for reference checks.

This is a full-time, temporary role based in Birmingham. This is a temporary contract but may be open to extension.
