Teacher of Maths
Responsibility available for an experienced and strong candidate.
A well-qualified and highly motivated Teacher of Maths is required for a September 2025 start, for a full-time and permanent position. We would welcome applications from both newly qualified and established teachers. All applicants must demonstrate a passion for their subject, and the ability and skills as a teacher to inspire a love of learning.
The candidate appointed will join a thriving and supportive Mathematics Faculty made up of 19 staff. The faculty regularly achieves excellent results at GCSE (P8 well above national average) and the school’s A Level Mathematics results have consistently been in the top 10% of schools for L3VA nationally.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all three key stages. In the Sixth Form, 45% of our 450 Sixth Form students currently take Maths as an option and we offer both Maths and Further Maths A Levels. Within such a strong department at a large school, there are many opportunities for the successful applicant to take on extra responsibilities and develop professionally.
