The position of Maintenance Operative involves:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs on MHE equipment, report faults, and collaborate with suppliers for timely fixes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the depot, ensuring the building's integrity meets company standards.
- Assist in carrying out work on site, adhering strictly to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Follow maintenance schedules as directed by the Depot Supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks, acting to minimise cost and operational impact.
- Adhere to Company Safe Systems of Work and Company Rule Book, maintaining the highest standards.
- Identify, document and report maintenance issues/repair work.
- Attend regular training sessions.
Essential Skills required for Maintenance Operative:
- Experience in a strong H&S culture.
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Able to maintain and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Hourly rate of £13.57ph. This includes holiday pay.
- Hours of work are: Monday - Friday, 07:00hrs - 17:00hrs.
