Senior Procurement Manager IT | Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
The roleholder will in particular shape and deliver the strategy for IT Procurement.
The roleholder will be expected to build strong and effective relationships at a strategic level with senior stakeholders and to work collaboratively in order to deliver optimum demonstrable value from the Trust’s third party supplier spend.He/she will also be expected to promote the adoption of innovative products and solutions by working closely with Trust colleagues and suppliers.
The job entails establishing contracts for the IT department, in cooperation with the department. Building strong relationships to ensure needs are defined and procurement is done in accordance with the standing instructions.
The role holder will need to have knowledge of frameworks and the Contract legislation valid at any time. The role holder shall guide the IT department to deliver value for money and establish a portfolio of strong contracts.
