Work Pattern 5 hrs per week (3.30pm – 6.00pm Wednesdays & Fridays), Term Time Only
Vaughan Primary School is a three form entry primary school based in Harrow. Vaughan Primary School’s After School Club is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Playworker in its wrap around care provision.
Vaughan’s After School Club offer extends the school offer beyond the normal school day. The After School Clubs' vision is to provide a safe, caring, happy, warm and stimulating environment for children, where parents and families can feel confident and assured that the staff are dedicated and motivated to provide high quality childcare and play opportunities.
We are particularly looking to hear from candidates who would be happy to lead groups of children in specific sport, fitness, arts and craft and learning activities to compliment the teams skill base.
About you:
As well as experience in working with 4-11 year olds, candidates should possess the following qualities; team work, flexibility and patience. Candidates should demonstrate competency of knowledge of child development and the role of play and have an understanding of child protection issues.
