Mental health practitioner

As a Mental Health Practitioner at Blueboard Care Services Ltd, you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your role will involve assessing mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions

• Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address emotional and psychological needs
• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
• Advocating for clients' access to services and resources in the community

Requirements

• Therapeutic skills: Expertise in various therapeutic modalities and techniques for mental health improvement
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients
• Assessment skills: Strong ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop appropriate intervention strategies

• Professional experience in mental health practice or related field
• Experience in direct clinical practice and patient interaction

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or a related field
• Current registration with the relevant professional body for mental health practitioners

• Continuing education in mental health treatment methodologies and practices
• Participation in training workshops focused on specific mental health issues and therapeutic approaches
