What you'll bring to the team:
The Operational Planner is responsible for optimising labour allocation across the Resort by aligning volume demand with resource allocation; supporting the Multiskilling Lead to ensure each planning managed department utilises multiskilled colleagues effectively.
As part of this role, you will ensure labour planning and scheduling optimises labour costs and reduces the recruitment need of front-line departments, you will also work with Resort operational teams to ensure effective use of multi-skilling within our teams.Our ideal candidate will be grounded in use of analytics to become a key influencer of an effective Resort operation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Resort rota creation for a variety of teams
- Key decision maker on labour models for different attendance levels using analytics to inform decision making of labour needs
- Support front line recruitment processes by providing timely data on resource requirements to the People Team and signalling over recruitment risks
- Ensure accurate recording of front-line absence so the resort can make data led decisions on how to address any problems
- Support the Planning Manager at reviews with department heads to understand key labour KPIs and operational feedback that can be incorporated into future planning to optimise performance

- Good personal organisation and time management skills; able to switch focus frequently and manage time between multiple people and projects
- Experience of working closely with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to be flexible – thinking outside of the box, not being confined to what has always been done, open to considering multiple possibilities
- Ability to self-manage
- Advanced Excel skills (ability to understand and build complex models)
