Warehouse Operative - Nottingham
My client based in Nottingham just off Trent Bridge is currently recruiting for warehouse operatives to join their team on a temp to perm basis, shift pattern is 0830-1700 with the flex of staying until 1800 to ensure all work is complete all hours worked are paid at standard pay
You will get 2 15 minute breaks paid and 1 30 minute unpaid break
£11.44 per hour until April 1st when it will increase to £12.21
Weekly pay and 0.5 days holiday accrued per week
Parking is available on site however it does fill up quickly, we advise you to get to your shift early to ensure you secure a parking space
Job Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks, including picking and packing orders, handling heavy goods, and unloading lorries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily targets, using a hand held scanner
- Using basic computer systems for stock control and order processing.
- Handling heavy goods (25-60kg) as part of a two-man team.
- Unloading lorries of items onto pallets and into the warehouse
- Assisting in various warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock rotation, and dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
