An award-winning and highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a dedicated SEN English Teacher to join their permanent teaching staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. They will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure each student receives the best possible support in their learning journey.
Requirements:
- Proven experience teaching in UK classrooms (essential)
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language needs
- A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential
- A strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
