Senior FP&A Analyst Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 Location: London Keywords: Financial Planning, Analysis, Senior Analyst, London

Our client is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, analysing and interpreting financial and non-financial information to enable senior management to evaluate, control and maximise business profitability.

What you'll do:

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and presenting global Front Office reporting models and monthly executive packs. You will be responsible for analysing regional brokerage compensation, discussing front office performance with Business Managers, and reviewing new investments.

Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in forecasting preparation and support function cost allocation analysis. Your role will also involve coordinating enhancements across the wider Finance MI.

  • Coordination of enhancement and consistency across the wider Finance MI.
  • Preparation and presentation of global Front Office reporting model and monthly Executive packs.
  • Analysis of regional brokerage compensation, reviewing monthly movements.
  • Discuss regional front office performance with Business Managers.
  • Analyze underperforming businesses and work with Business managers to understand the story of the desks.
  • Review new investments, acquisitions and desk hires and analyze the path to profitability.
  • Preparation of forecasts in conjunction with Business Managers.
  • Analysis and review of support function cost allocations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior FP&A Analyst position will have 2/3 years’ post-qualification experience. You possess strong MS Excel skills along with good all-round IT abilities. Your ability to analyse performance by scrutinising P&L’s and KPI’s is second-to-none.

You are able to self-manage conflicting workloads to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high numerical and oral communication skills. Experience in Financial Services or similar industries would be advantageous.

  • 2/3 years PQE (ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, etc)
  • Strong MS Excel skills and good all-round IT abilities
  • Ability to analyse performance by analysing P&L’s and KPI’s
  • Ability to self-manage conflicting workloads to meet deadlines
  • High level of numeric and oral communication skills
  • Experience in Financial Services or similar
