What We’re Looking For
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Proven experience in mental health hospitals or acute inpatient care settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health conditions, evidence-based treatments, and current mental health legislation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • A team player with leadership qualities and the ability to foster a collaborative, therapeutic environment.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach with a non-judgmental attitude toward patients’ needs.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Patient-Centred Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' mental health needs using recognized tools.
  • Personalised Care Plans: Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans tailored to patients' needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Medication Management: Safely administer medications and monitor their effects, ensuring any changes are documented and addressed promptly.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based interventions that support patients’ recovery and promote emotional well-being.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly review and evaluate patients’ progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Family Engagement: Collaborate with families and caregivers, providing education and support to ensure they feel informed and included in the care process.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay at the forefront of mental health nursing by engaging in training, reflective practice, and continuous learning opportunities.
